26/11/07 What a strange weekend! Anyway after an early start on the Severn for the first of the bores which included a frosty ground, a classic sunrise, a glassy wave and long ride we ended it with another day of bore surfing and an evening of night bore surfing. All in all completely bored out! Plenty of drama too including hitting the sand banks, risky surfing between the trees and avoiding a huge tree in the river. Exciting stuff! More on that coming soon. One update i forgot to mention is on the bungee page. If you think you have seen the ultimate bungee click on this page and watch the you tube videos. Unbelievable! Lastly, tickets for the prize draw are selling fast so make surf you get yours. T.Bawn |

03/09/07 Not quite the start to the autumn bores as predicted, with myself especially getting a pasting from my board on the shallow banks near the boatyard, which resulted in a snapped fin and a few bruises! Still nice to see it braking on a 1 star rated bore! We also had a short walk in The Malvern Hills, which although a little busy were not a let down, in fact the view was amazing. You could see from the brecon beacons to Coventry! Still time to get involved with some of the trips we have planned so just drop us an email. T.Bawn |
28/08/07 Who would have thought we would actually get a sunny bank holiday weekend!! Not great for the surf though, but we still managed a session at Freshwater West in Pembrokeshire. We stayed at Marloes sands, a nice little place with plenty going on in the area including diving, fishing, trips to Skomer island, kayaking, power kiting, walking and surfing. So a great place if you want to have a bit of fun. Don't forget, it's the start of the rideable Severn bores this week and followed in september by the biggest of the autumn bores. For more information on the bore times and where to see it check out the time table here. T.Bawn |
13/08/07 Fairly good swell the last couple of weeks have seen a few good surf sessions at Llangennith on the Gower coast, south Wales. It's nice to surf in the SUN for a change too! T.Bawn |
02/07/07 What's going on with the weather!?!?! The wettest june on record and it's looking like a wet july too. Lots planned for the next month including a week in the Lake District, walking canoeing and probably getting a little wet. Stay tuned for our trip report with lots of cool pictures, links and ideas.
