This walk is one of the best in Wales if it's waterfalls and stunning scenery you are after. Not only does it have Sgwd yr Eira or the "falls of snow", but many others all along this route. There is also a lot of wildlife and fauna to look at along the way, not forgetting the many cave entrances to look at. It's not an easy route to walk and involves a few steep decent's and accents but if you are relatively fit it should take you around 5-6 hours at a steady pace. The paths vary from muddy/rocky trails to grassland and tarmac roads. A good pair of walking boots are recommended. You will also need those water proofs for crossing under the falls and are probably a good idea to have in your bag anyway being Wales! |
| Both myself and Vicky agreed this walk was one of the best we have done in Wales. Mainly down to the stunning scenery and variation of walking. This is also a great one to get the kids interested in walking, although care is needed in parts! For more pictures on this walk click on the link below. |
