Where can I use It ?
Once you have bought your mountainboard you will want to know where to use it.
Grass- These boards are good on grass and can reach quite a speed on steep hills with short grass. On longer grass you can slide the back of the board around more when you are going downhill. But if you are looking for a fast ride with a few jumps, then a big hill with an average angled slope with short grass will provide the best ride.
Muddy tracks- Your board might get caked in mud but riding down muddy tracks can be similar to riding down long grass. You can slide the board around a bit more, but if you have no guards over the wheels expect blobs of mud in the face.
Paths & roads- This really is the best way to get a fast ride but also the most dangerous. Pads are a must because landing on a concrete path after falling off a board which may still hit you in the head can really hurt. But there is something about hammering down a country path as fast as you can which makes you occasionally take up this challenge.
Scrub land-Scrub land paths like the one shown can be a really good to ride. The boards don't really have many problems riding over the leaves, branches etc which you may encounter on these paths. A good thing about scrub land is you can slide the back of the board around a lot which really helps with steering down the route. Be aware of hidden tree roots !
