Natural weights, ideal for Carp, Barbel, Pike & Chub.

These weights are excellent for stalking Carp, Chub, Pike & Barbel on rivers, lakes, gravel pits and canals. A simple setup consisting of a link swivel, leger stop and a hook length is all you need. Then as you move around you can change the weight or colour of the natural weights to suit the bottom or amount of flow you are casting your bait upon. They work especially well when the water is clear and the fish are spooked easily. They settle vary well on the bottom eliminating some of the noise and commotion caused by casting.

I have personally watched Barbel get spooked by my normal weights. But since I started to use these natural ones I have watched them swim straight over them without a worry and my catch rate have improved dramatically. They blend in with the bottom of the river so well. And with this pack of 10 you will have different colours, weights and shapes for every occasion.

They can be left in the water to encourage algae growth which results in more natural camouflage and natural smells. Or you can soak your rigs and natural weights in an attractant and the weight being porous will actually soak up some of the attractant. When a fishery or water has been fished hard and the fish become vary of rigs, natural weights are the answer. They can give the fish just that little more confidence to take your bait.
